Aquario Neo C

A fast-acting dechlorinator that neutralises chlorine, chloramine and ammonia in one dose, backed with vitamin C, humic acid and trace minerals.

A dechlorinator is what you add to tap water to make it safe for fish and shrimp. Tap water is disinfected with chlorine, or with chloramine — chlorine bonded to ammonia — and both are harmful in a tank. This neutralises them, along with the ammonia left behind when chloramine breaks apart. Use it every time you add tap water.

Neo C is Aquario's fast-acting dechlorinator and detoxifier — the bottle most people reach for straight after a water change. It neutralises chlorine, chloramine and ammonia from tap water, with vitamin C doing the core work alongside humic acid and a trace-mineral blend, which Aquario positions as extra support for the water rather than a straight strip-and-neutralise product alone.

As a starting guideline only — quoted by resellers, not yet confirmed against Aquario's own label — the dose commonly cited is roughly 5mL per 200L of tap water. Treat that as a starting point rather than gospel until we've checked it against the bottle in hand.

One more thing worth flagging on names: don't mix this up with Neo CO2, Aquario's bacterial CO2 generator for planted tanks, which we stock separately in our CO2 & Diffusers collection — similar name, completely unrelated product.
