Description
An extendable glass algae scraper is a long-handled tool with a replaceable flat blade for lifting algae and biofilm, the slimy microbe layer, off the inside of glass aquarium panels. A telescopic handle gives a reach of roughly 34 cm, or around 51 cm with the extension fitted, so you can clean a deeper tank without putting your arm in.

Usage & Instructions
Check the blade is securely fitted and the cap removed. Hold the blade flat against the glass and use gentle, steady strokes to lift algae, working from the top down. Make sure the blade edge and the glass are free of sand or grit before each stroke. Rinse in clean water after use, dry, fit the cap and store out of reach of children.
Risk & Awareness
For glass aquariums only: a hard blade will scratch acrylic or plastic tanks. Sand or grit trapped under the blade scratches glass, so keep the blade clear of the substrate line and never dig into it. Avoid the silicone seams in the corners; a blade can slice them. The blade is sharp: handle carefully when changing blades and cap it after use.
