Aquario Neo Mixer

An inline CO2 diffuser that mixes gas into your return flow instead of relying on a bubble counter and hope.

A bubble counter (the small chamber that shows CO2 — carbon dioxide, the gas plants feed on — as countable bubbles) dripping CO2 into the tank looks satisfying, but a good chunk of every bubble rises straight to the surface and escapes before the plants get to use it. An inline mixer avoids that by dissolving CO2 into the water while it's still moving through sealed tubing, so far less of it is wasted.

The Neo Mixer fits inline on your filter's return line — plumbed into the hose itself, outside the tank — an 8mm-diameter body that diffuses CO2 into the flow as it's pumped back into the tank, so the gas is already dissolved by the time the water reaches the aquarium, rather than needing to dissolve from a stream of rising bubbles.

M and L connections (≈13mm and ≈17mm respectively) to match your return line. The Mixer's job is diffusion — dissolving CO2 into your return flow — rather than supplying the CO2 itself, so it's designed to work as part of a CO2 setup alongside a cylinder, regulator (the valve gear that meters the gas out of the cylinder) and solenoid (an electric valve that switches the gas on and off, usually with the lights).
