Potassium dosing at the roots, for correcting deficiency where it often shows first — the substrate.

Potassium deficiency classically shows as pinholing (tiny holes in the leaf) or yellowing in older leaves, and root feeders can run short even when the water column (the open water itself) is being dosed properly, since the substrate — the material covering the tank floor — is where they take up most of their nutrition. Aquario Neo Tab K is a potassium-focused root tab (a fertiliser tablet pushed into the substrate) designed to correct that directly at the root zone.

It pairs naturally with Neo Solution K (the water-column potassium fertiliser) — use the tab for root feeders showing symptoms and the liquid for stem and floating plants, rather than expecting one or the other to cover the whole tank on its own.

Aquario hasn't published an exact potassium content for this tab. Push it in near (not against) the root ball — the clump of roots at the plant's base — a few centimetres deep, and give new growth a couple of weeks to show whether the deficiency symptoms are clearing before adding another.
