Not every tank needs the full lily-pipe look (lily pipes are the curved, glass-look inlet and outlet pipes used with canister filters). The Neo Outlet is Aquario's compact answer for keepers who want a tidy, adjustable filter return (the fitting where filtered water re-enters the tank) without committing to a full glass inlet/outlet set — it clips onto the return line and gives 360° rotation to aim the flow, plus a reduction in outlet force.

It's a simpler fit than the full Flow set (no holder or reliever needed) and a good option for a second tank, a filter that isn't visible from the main viewing angle, or a lower-cost way into the Neo range.

One thing worth flagging plainly: Aquario's own spec lists this product's sizing the opposite way around to the rest of the Neo range — here, M is the larger connection (≈17mm) and L is the smaller (≈13mm). That's unusual next to every other product in this line, where M is always the smaller size. We've kept the figures exactly as supplied rather than “correcting” them, but it means checking the mm figure, not just the letter, when matching this to other Neo gear.
