The Neo U Clip does exactly the same job as the P Clip — holding air line or CO2 tubing (CO2 is carbon dioxide, the gas injected into planted tanks to speed plant growth) in a gentle curve so it can't kink or clog at a tight bend — just in a U-shaped body instead of a closed loop.
The shape difference matters more than it sounds: some mounting spots (along a rim, behind a brace, a tight gap between glass and cabinet) suit an open U-shape better than a closed clip, and vice versa. Pick whichever shape fits your equipment layout — the hose protection itself is identical.
