Clips onto your filter outlet and skims that greasy surface film back into the filter before it dulls your view.

Anyone running a planted or shrimp tank for a while will recognise the problem: a thin, greasy film sitting on the water's surface, dulling the reflection and cutting down the gas exchange (oxygen moving in, carbon dioxide moving out) happening right at that surface. It's usually a mix of food oils, biofilm (the thin bacterial layer that grows on every wet surface) and tannins (tea-brown compounds released by driftwood and leaves), and normal filter flow doesn't touch it, because the intake sits below the surface rather than on it.

The Neo Skimmer clips straight onto your filter's outlet and sits at the surface line, drawing a thin layer of that top water back through the return flow on each pass. Over time the film gets pulled back into the filter and broken down there instead of sitting on the water.

It comes in two sizes to match your outlet connection: M for roughly 13mm fittings, L for roughly 17mm.
