Description
Blanched vegetable sticks are a dried vegetable feed for grazing animals. Blanching means the vegetable was briefly cooked so it softens quickly once it is back in water. In the tank the stick slowly softens and is picked at over many hours rather than eaten in one sitting, much like a slice of blanched zucchini. Vegetable matter is a useful part of a varied diet for shrimp, snails and algae-eating fish.

Usage & Instructions
Drop one stick in for a colony and let it soften. Weighting it or placing it in a feeding dish stops it drifting. Remove whatever is left within a day. Follow the rate printed on the product label and feed it as one part of a rotation rather than every day.
Risk & Awareness
Vegetable matter that is left to rot clouds the water and adds to the waste the filter has to process, so lift out leftovers after a day at most. Very fast disappearance usually means fish or snails are taking most of it, so feed where shrimp can reach it. Store dry and sealed.
