Description
Seiryu stone is a grey, layered limestone-type rock with pale white veins and sharp, angular faces. Worth knowing before you build with it: seiryu contains calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate slowly dissolves, which raises GH (general hardness, the calcium and magnesium content), KH (carbonate hardness, the buffer against pH swings) and pH. In a tank kept deliberately soft that works against you; in already hard water it makes little practical difference.

Usage & Instructions
Scrub and rinse before use. Plan the layout dry, then place stones directly on the tank base or on a thin cushion so weight is spread. Test GH, KH and pH before adding the stone and again over the following weeks so you know how much it has moved the water, and factor that into water-change water.
Risk & Awareness
Seiryu raises hardness and pH over time; check readings and be aware that active soils and tannins can be pushing the other way. Edges are sharp enough to cut hands and scratch glass, and a heavy stone sliding against the glass can crack it. Never stack unstable pieces.
