Description
A shrimp net is a small hand net with very fine, soft mesh. The mesh matters more than the frame: a standard fish net has holes large enough for shrimplets to pass through, and its coarse weave can snag the thin legs and antennae of adults. A fine mesh scoops shrimp cleanly, and a small frame fits between plants and hardscape in a nano tank.

Usage & Instructions
Wet the net before use so shrimp do not stick to dry mesh. Move slowly; shrimp flick backwards when startled, so bring the net in from behind and let them swim into it. Transfer straight to a container of tank water. Rinse in clean tap water afterwards and dry it before storing.
Risk & Awareness
Shrimp that are dropped or held out of water for long can be injured, so keep transfers short. Using one net between tanks can carry disease or planaria, so rinse it well or keep one net per tank. Check the mesh for holes and for shrimplets caught in the weave before putting it away.
